THE HEALING POWER OF AYURVEDA WITH GABY COLLETTA (IN-STUDIO + ONLINE)

The Healing Power of Ayurveda (In-Studio + Online)

Saturday May 17 2:30pm-4:30pm PDT Guided by Gaby Colletta, E-RYT 500, YACEP, AHC, Somatic Therapist

Recording available if you can’t make the event.

Join Ayurvedic Health Counselor, E-RYT 500 and Somatic Therapist Gaby Colletta for an exploration into the foundational principles of Ayurveda.

Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old wisdom and sister-science to yoga that offers a holistic approach to healing. In this introductory workshop, we’ll begin to explore the interplay of the 5 great elements that form the doshas and in turn your unique constitution. Rooted in the laws of Nature, Ayurveda recognizes that cultivating health & balance is part of a dynamic ecosystem of relationships. When one is in right relationship (to one’s senses, to food and nourishment, to mental narratives and belief systems, to community and loved ones, to dharma or ultimately to one higher Self) one can thrive in harmony and integration.

Together we’ll touch on the following:

  • Intro to Ayurveda - The Science of Life

  • Yoga & Ayurveda as sister sciences

  • Svastha - The definition of Health

  • 5 Element theory & 3 Doshas

  • Prakruti & Vikruti - our balanced vs current state

  • The causes of disease & suffering

  • Diet, Lifestyle & Somatic Tools that promote self-awareness and wise energy management

Consider this an invitation to connect to your inherent healing wisdom and nourish your whole being.
This is eligible for 2 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours.

This workshop is a blend of meditation, lecture, journal inquiry, Q&A & lively discussion. Bring a journal and pen.

Cost $35 - please select in-studio or online when you register - recording available for 6 months
