Meditation for Self-Regulation: Cultivating Inner Ease and Resilience
In-person + Online with Stephanie Lopez
Experience the profound power of meditative awareness to restore balance, clarity, and inner calm. Grounded in the timeless wisdom of nondual yoga and illuminated by modern neuroscience and psychology, this workshop invites you into a deep exploration of presence as a pathway to healing.
Through guided meditation, body sensing, and self-inquiry, you’ll learn to attune to the intelligence of the nervous system and respond to life’s challenges with greater steadiness, compassion, and grace. These accessible, somatic-based practices will help you uncover a steady inner refuge—one that nurtures emotional resilience and supports lasting well-being in your daily life.
Key Areas of Exploration:
· The Science of Self-Regulation: Learn how meditation influences the autonomic nervous system and supports emotional resilience and trauma healing.
· Awareness as a Healing Tool: Practice welcoming, nonjudgmental attention as a means to shift habitual stress patterns and cultivate integration across all layers of being.
· Embodied Presence: Use somatic meditation and body sensing to return to the present moment and access deep rest, clarity, and insight.
· A Holistic Map of Being: Explore the five dimensions—body, breath, mind, emotions, and awareness—as a framework for inner healing and wholeness.
What You’ll Experience:
· Restorative guided meditations that support calm, clarity, and self-awareness.
· Gentle breath-based practices and body sensing to deepen presence and regulation.
· Inner inquiry to identify and soften limiting beliefs and emotional reactivity.
· Tools to reconnect with your inner stillness and innate wisdom.
What You’ll Gain:
· Simple, effective meditative tools for meeting anxiety, stress, and overwhelm.
· Greater capacity for emotional balance and self-understanding.
· Insight into the neurobiology of awareness and how it supports long-term resilience.
· Resources applicable for personal growth, teaching, or therapeutic settings.
Ideal for:
· Yoga and meditation practitioners seeking depth beyond posture-based practice.
· Therapists, educators, and wellness professionals integrating mind-body approaches.
· Anyone navigating stress, trauma, or fatigue, and seeking practical tools for healing.
